Captain

THE POSITION:

  • Responsible for having a strong food knowledge base very detailed understanding and memorization of the current menu items which include all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, food and specials
  • Offer recommendations and guidance through menu to guests, answer questions regarding dish preparations
  • Monitor and anticipate guests' dining experiences
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with other kitchen & hospitality team members
  • Provides expert guidance and personalized attention throughout guest experience

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous fine dining restaurant experience preferred with enthusiasm to learn and ambition to grow
  • Two years of experience in a similar restaurant environment preferred
  • Food Handler’s certification, ABC RBS training certification
  • Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly and safely
  • Must be able to work standing or walking for 8 hours
  • Must be able to move 50 pounds at time
  • Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards
