Captain
THE POSITION:
- Responsible for having a strong food knowledge base very detailed understanding and memorization of the current menu items which include all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, food and specials
- Offer recommendations and guidance through menu to guests, answer questions regarding dish preparations
- Monitor and anticipate guests' dining experiences
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with other kitchen & hospitality team members
- Provides expert guidance and personalized attention throughout guest experience
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous fine dining restaurant experience preferred with enthusiasm to learn and ambition to grow
- Two years of experience in a similar restaurant environment preferred
- Food Handler’s certification, ABC RBS training certification
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly and safely
- Must be able to work standing or walking for 8 hours
- Must be able to move 50 pounds at time
- Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards
