Backwaiter/Busser
THE POSITION:
- Duties include but are not limited to stocking, polishing silver, glass and dishware, setting, bussing and clearing tables, trash and recycling removal, running food and drinks
- Knowledge of the dish room, including separating and polishing of silverware, dishes & glassware appropriately
- Provides expert guidance and personalized attention throughout guest experience
- Assuring compliance with all sanitation & other safety guidelines
- Monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables
- General knowledge of menu offerings and descriptions in order to effectively run food and communicate with guests.
- Pre-bussing, clearing, wiping tabletops, chairs & booths, and setting tables according to company policy
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
- Previous fine dining restaurant experience preferred with enthusiasm to learn and ambition to grow
- Two years of experience in a similar restaurant environment preferred
- Food Handler’s certification, ABC RBS training certification
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly and safely
- Must be able to work standing or walking for 8 hours
- Must be able to move 50 pounds at time
- Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards
